Mt. Nasu
Spectacular views from the ski area on Mt. Nasu of mountains and the valley below. We stopped at a temple for pictures and the air was full of sulfur from the hot springs. The praying statues had red hats, as did the Buddha.
Hi Joyce & Bob- I've been curious about your trip and I was happy to find this blog link on Joyce's Facebook page. Thanks so much for sharing your adventures with the world. You folks are an inspiration! Regards from your first cousin (once removed) by marriage, Lynne
Hi Bob! There's some pretty fancy timber framing over there, hope you don't get too many ideas! Our squared up mortise & tenon joints are gonna look pretty lame by time you get home!
Finally, a chance to catch up on your blog! This is not an indication of how often I think of you both! As we rocket into June, DCC is busy planning Children's Sunday and a big community cancer fundraiser for the John and Michelle Murphy family. I am proud to say we put the whole thing together. Then on to a break this summer when I travel to England for a month to see Matt play in the Lacrosse World Cup! Eastman is lovely--the lawyering is not! :(
