Sunday Biking to the Bakery
On Sunday we biked downtown to the bike path and explored. then we rewarded ourselves with tea and a delicious treat at the local German bakery that we had discovered.
Hi Joyce and Bob, It is such fun following your blog! I keep encouraging others to do so and we pray for you each week. The richness of this experience is already bursting through. Joyce, there must be many poems floating in your head (and I hope to your pen).
We have moved from Easter to end-of-the-church year busyness. Jim Stone is re-creating your wonderful labyrinth for a cancer fundraiser we are hosting. I gave him your notebook and he was duly impressed! Michaela's dad has moved into the last stages of his cancer, so we are all sad with her about that.
Life in Grantham is actually wonderful! If I have a bad day, I can always slip on my jacket and sit by the lake and watch the stars come out--so healing. Matt made the English World Cup Lacrosse team and through an eruption of grace and generosity, I will spend a month this summer in the UK.
We miss you so much and are glad for the faithfulness of your blog. Please hold our love and blessings in your hearts.
Joyce and Bob I am so enjoying your faith journey please tell more aout the statues with the red hats. Eric and Michelle went to NC over the week end to spend it with Fred on his birthday. Bob and Kristen, Loise's children also flew in. Andrea wanted to be there but Eryn graduates this week and and needed her mom to be there. We all think of you often and are in our prayers. Ute, our pastoe for the past few years is moving on to an important church in Cambridge, Christ Church. Wonder what the future holds for our little church in Boxboro. love and prayers as we follow your journey, Aunt Martha
